A Wild Buck is worth it's weight in GOLD!

V-Day weekend was super fun this year!
First, we went down to the symphony. Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. SUPER impressive. It was fun because we had gone to a symphony the night of our first kiss. So nostalgic. :)

We slept over at Ben's parents house and got to visit with them for awhile. Which was awesome! It's always fun to see them and we are so lucky that they tolerate us.

We then made our way to Ogden to spend some time with Chase and Bonnie. They had a fun date planned and we had a blast! We went to Weber State and bowled. They do this thing where if you happen to get a colored pin in the front of your pins, and happen to get a strike, you get a WILD BUCK! I don't think other people really ever care, but to us it was a HUGE accomplishment.

(I think they were worth a mini candy bar, or baby drink, but to us....they were much more.)

We all rocked it at owning these Wild Bucks.
Ben and me after I was bestowed the first WILD BUCK of the night!!

We were all decorated bowlers of the Wild Buck.

Aw yeah. Nailed it.

After church and some meetings on Sunday, we bounced up to Bear Lake for a few nights as a Valentines escape. It was BEAUTIFUL! We went hot tubbing and it almost felt like summer!

(He's so cute)

So frozen. So beautiful.

Valentine's night was complete with some beautiful roses, and Indian food. I love this boy. He is such a good little Valentine all year round. He does so much for me and I'm grateful for how happy he makes me all the time.

Our little family

This last October we got a sweet little addition to our twosome. I convinced Ben that since it was my birthday month, I needed to get anything I wanted. So I chose this little pup. She is about 7 years old and was raised by a really loving family. One of the owners got sick and so they needed to give her up. It was definitely meant to be because she is the perfect dog for us! Her name was originally Sura, but as we looked at her cute little face with gray hair, we started calling her Nana and it just stuck! She is our sweet little Nana Pup. :) :)

Nana LOVES to cuddle! Especially with Ben.

She loves my mom's dog, Gracie. They've become the best of friends. When Gracie has to go in the kennel, Nana will follow her in without any question.

She has recently started playing with the foosball that fits perfectly in her mouth.
She looks super funny with it in.

The best part about Nana is her sweet, kind, calm little spirit. I work with the Special Needs kids at Mountain Crest. One of the girls was EXTREMELY afraid of any kind of dog. I started telling her stories about Nana and how much I loved her. Pretty soon this girl was asking if I would bring Nana. I jumped at the opportunity and brought her to work with me.

By the end of the day, the girl who had never touched a dog and breaks down just hearing a dog bark, was begging me to put Nana in her lap. She held her and loved her and Nana was very calm and understanding.

She has done wonders with some of those kids and she is definitely a very special dog.
(I had to blot our her face for legal reasons. )

We love Nana so much!

Another extra special person in our family is Ben! He does everything for me and our family! He cooks, cleans, laughs, hugs, cuddles, provides, serves, loves, works out, and even goes to get Twizlberry late at night. I love this boy so much. I never imagined that I could love him more when I married him. Now, nearly two years later my love for him has grown deeper and I can't wait for the rest of our lives! He has a great testimony and loves the lord. He is compassionate and genuine. He cares about me and other people. He is the best man I know!

And he's mine!

It's very rare to meet a person who works as hard as Ben does. Since he was 11, he learned how to program computers and has worked very hard to increase his knowledge. He helps people (me) with their computer problems, he builds people awesome websites for a fraction of the cost (if not for free), and the best part is he loves doing it! He has even started to make our house automated from an iphone app. It's all a big game to him and if he gets paid for it, it's all the better!

He has worked really hard the past year and a half starting a company with his two partners, Jon and Steve. They are an amazing team and together have built quite the company! He puts a lot of time and effort into it. In fact, we joke around that Bluecache/Citygro is our first baby.

They are now expanding to California (DISNEYLAND!)
And were recently awarded the Entrepreneurs of the Year of Cache Valley.

I am SO proud of my Benny!

Board with Chase and Bonnie :)

A little while ago we were able to go snowboarding with one of Ben's high school buddies and his cute wife. Chase and Bonnie live in Ogden so we don't get to see them that often, but when we do it's always a ton of fun!

We met up with my Pop and brothers for some much needed lunch, which was awesome!

It would have been cool to do a few runs with them, but for whatever reason we just never ran into them!

They obviously had a ton of fun with us on the way home! :)

Fun day with fun friends! We loved hanging out with them and can't wait to do it again!
